God describes Himself as compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, overflowing with loyal love and faithfulness. The story of the Bible is deeply connected to the promises that God has made.
From the very beginning, God had a plan to partner with humans in bringing the goodness of the Garden of Eden to the rest of the world. The Garden of Eden was a place where heaven overlapped with earth and where humanity could live at rest in God’s presence.
Just as Adam and Eve’s original job was to reflect God’s character and ways, Jesus invites us to introduce people to God by showing people what He is like. God describes Himself as compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, overflowing with loyal love and faithfulness.
